Serious Nibbage Part 3: Conway Stewart Winston

Ah! One of my favourite pens – the Conway Stewart Winston. And now I share it… GourmetPens and I decide whether we think the Winston is serious nibbage or not.

Franklin-Christoph “Christoph” Music Nib

Now here’s something truly special: a nice, modern music nib.  Expect 0% flex, but it does offer serious line variation, being a 1.9 mm italic.  Three tines, two slits, superb ink flow, and a wonderfully smooth writing experience.

As promised, I have tried to put this nib in a number of popular pens. I haven’t inked up all of these pens, so I can’t guarantee a wet writing performance, but the nib fits easily in these pens.

Tilburg Pen Show 2014 List

I’ll be attending the Tilburg Pen Show again this year on Saturday, September 27th, 2014. It will be held at the Natuurmuseum Brabant in Tilburg, where I was born!

I’m not looking for a whole lot in particular…because there may be some big ticket items that will drain me.

  • Visconti Opera Master Demo Amber fountain pen.
  • Kaweco safety filler (for Mr. Schneider).
  • Parker Duofold with button filler

I hope the Professor makes an appearance this year – he’s great to chat with at pen shows. Although Windy can be a bit obnoxious…

What else do I need?
